The course brought 30 players and 15 coaches, including two Englishmen and a Scot, into contact with some of the most influential players and coaches in world rugby.
Muir, who heads up the academy in South Africa, was particularly pleased with the academy's ability to attract international coaches to its courses.
"Coaching structures are dwindling globally and we expect that 20 to 30percent of the upcoming courses will be filled with international participants," he said. "So all in all, I am impressed with the result."
The courses are aimed at players and coaches looking to pursue professional careers or enhance their current careers in rugby.
Muir facilitated the course with top coaches and former players such as Hugh Reece-Edwards, Johan Ackermann and Ray Mordt. - Sapa
