The Revlon Realistic competition, which started on July 3 and ends at midnight on August 31, is searching for a new face.

For most girls, this opportunity to become a world-class model would be a dream come true. Let's face it, which girl doesn't want to be the next Naomi Campbell or Tyra Banks?

International models not only get to travel to the most desirable locations across the world and walk up and down famous runways, but they also have access to a wide range of leading designer couture and accessories.

The competition is open to any South African over the age of 18 who is fluent in English and one indigenous language. She must have at least a matric.

Model scouts will be sent to Durban, Cape Town and Johannesburg where the finalists will be selected.

The chosen finalists will then take part in the final gala evening, which will take place in Jo burg at the end of September.

The winner will receive a two-year Revlon Realistic contract and much more. She will also receive skills training to prepare and groom her for this exciting adventure financial planning, a modelling course or voice lessons that will be structured around the winner's personality and dreams and a cash prize of R100000.
