SAFA Limpopo region will host a referees' indaba in Mokopane on Saturday and Sunday to prepare for the new season.
Joey Mohlake, the event's coordinator, said yesterday that the indaba will focus on problems that always affect referees from the local football associations.
He said Saturday had been allocated for former referees while current and active referees will attend Sunday's session.
"We are aware that the welfare of the referees is not taken care of and we need to solve the situation. We don't want to see a situation where everybody does as he wishes in this department," Mohlake said.
"The event will be facilitated by Nare Sekwaila, Safa's referee commissioner." - Matome Lebea
