Around the world millions more have been holding wakes, performing some of the moves that made Wacko Jacko the worldwide phenomenon he was.

Here, as in other countries, his music has been flying off the shelves, with people who had appeared indifferent making sure that they have something to remember him by.

Jackson is not the first artist to make a killing out of dying. Elvis Presley remains one of the highest earners in show business though he has been dead for more than 30 years.

Elvis' and Jacko's successes have proven themselves something "to die for".
