BAFANA Bafana played so well in the Confederations Cup against the world's number-one ranked team, Spain, that South Africans have not stopped raving about the national team's performance.

That Bafana Bafana finished fourth in the event and improved their Fifa world ranking from 72 to 70 gave locals faith that there is light at the end of the tunnel and boosted confidence for 2010.

With this excitement in the air the African Soccer Television show brings us highlights of the game on SABC1 Sport's Laduma programme on Sunday at 2.30pm.

The show also looks at the Namibian league where Orlando Pirates played to a 1-all draw with African Stars, who clinched the championship for the first time. The Namibian Bucs finished fourth on the log.

The Africa Cup of Nations and World Cup qualifiers are also under the spotlight with Ghana's Black Stars getting closer to booking their tickets with a 2-0 pasting of Sudan.

Kenya are still in with a shout following their narrow 2-1 win over Mozambique. The Ghanaian league games between King Faisal and AshantiGold, XI Wise and All Stars, Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko, and Arsenal and SP Mirren are also part of the package.
