Boks aim for three in a row

SPRINGBOK supporters have a final chance to see their team in action for the next 12 years against the British and Irish Lions when the two teams face off in the third Test of the Castle South Africa 2009 Lions Series at Coca-Cola Park in Johannesburg on Saturday.

SPRINGBOK supporters have a final chance to see their team in action for the next 12 years against the British and Irish Lions when the two teams face off in the third Test of the Castle South Africa 2009 Lions Series at Coca-Cola Park in Johannesburg on Saturday.

Apart from the fact that this is the last time the Boks will play the Lions until 2021, the Boks will also be looking to make history by completing their first-ever series clean-sweep over the visitors.

This has eluded the South Africans for 118 years. Three times before - in 1903, 1962 and 1968 - South Africa have won Lions Series without losing a Test, but in none of those did they win all the Tests. Scholar tickets have been made available for this match at R145 each.

A park-and-ride facility will be in operation from 10am at Bezuidenhout Valley Park in Marcia Street, Observatory. It will close at 8pm and the cost is R20 per car. Tickets for the park-and-ride are available from Computicket or at the entrance. Match tickets are available from Computicket. - Sapa
