I appreciate the compliment and the support of the work we do at CNBC Africa. The greatest challenge is to tell a compelling story about vibrant capital markets and economic development in Africa.

Positive things are happening at a great speed, though we are occasionally let down by bad leaders with poor judgment.

It's a privilege for me to interview these people. It's even better when fellow Africans believe that they too can make a contribution.
