HOMEBOY Julius Malema, pictured, swept back to his own turf this weekend to reassure the ANC faithful in Limpopo that all Is well in the provincial government - and to deny reports of a schism between party leaders.
The ANCYL leader was responding to reports of tussles between between the party's provincial secretary, Joe Maswanganyi, and provincial chairperson Premier Cassel Mathale over the placing of cadres in critical government positions.
Malema has been regarded as the power behind Mathale's rise to power.
The youth league leader told about 12000 villagers at Dan village outside Tzaneen on Saturday that the two men (Mathale and Maswanganyi) would ensure that Limpopo rose from the brink of "political collapse" under "Boma bina bosolwa - who were today "nothing but backbenchers of the Limpopo government".
The event was called to celebrate Mathale becoming premier of the province.
Mathale and Maswanganyi demonstrated their mutual admiration to the crowd by hugging each other on the stage.
