I have dicovered I'm a sucker for love songs, thanks to Judy Boucher.

I also found out that I could sing and yes, I have a lovely voice though I will not venture to cut an album.

But, it was disappointing that Boucher had flown for so many hours to sing seven songs. I enjoyed all her songs and I even sang along. But why pay so much money (R100) for a 38-minute show? It could be that maybe Boucher was also disappointed with the turnout.

The organisers must be fired because there were fewer than 2000 people in attendance, which is very questionable given Boucher's following in the country.

It doesn't matter that the show coincided with R Kelly's, the organisers should have known better.

But credit where it is due, Boucher rendered a wonderful show to a paltry crowd. It is inspiring to witness an artist giving her best and being professional. She gave a memorable show and had the crowd dancing and singing along.
