Correctional Services said that “matters are under control” at Johannesburg’s Sun City Prison on Wed.
TOWERING Bafana Bafana defender Matthew Booth is predicting a good run for Mamelodi Sundowns next season.
The Brazilians failed dismally to impress last season despite having a galaxy of stars.
The list included Sibusiso Zuma, Benedict "Tso" Vilakazi and Collins Mbesuma. Zuma and Mbesuma are among those on the transfer list.
But Booth has signed a two-season extension to his contract. He reckons happy days will return to Sundowns.
"It was a whole new team last season and players were trying to learn to play together, but we will gel next season," said Booth, who joined Downs during the January transfer window.
"It was sad for a big team like Sundowns not to finish within the top-eight bracket this past season. But we are committed to return the team to its glory days.
"I have confidence in all the players and I urge the supporters to continue backing us. I predict a tough season in 2009-10 but we will face the challenges."
Booth had a great game against Spain in the Confederations Cup at Free State Stadium, Bloemfontein, on Saturday night.
His performance in the Festival of Champions could have grabbed the attention of overseas teams and herald a return to Europe.
But for, now Booth prefers to focus on the Confederations Cup.
