NEW ZEALAND - Chris Killen: 27 caps Age: 27 Striker: Celtic, 15 goals.
Killen is a rare breed - a New Zealander who has made his mark at the top level.
Along with Blackburn Rovers's Ryan Nelsen, who is injured and misses the Confederations Cup, Killen is the country's most successful player, though his star appears to be fading after Celtic loaned him to Norwich earlier this year.
He got his break following a successful trial at Manchester City as a 17-year-old.
His first senior club appearances came during a loan spell at Wrexham in September 2000 and the following season he was loaned to Port Vale, scoring six goals in nine league games.
He joined Oldham Athletic in July 2002 and remained at the club for more than three years, scoring 24 goals in 78 appearances, before being released on a free transfer.
Killen moved north of the border to Hibernian, started scoring goals and was soon snapped up by Celtic and went on to play for the club in the Champions League.
He made his international debut in 2000 and the All Whites will be looking to him to lead the front line in South Africa.
