Lesson one is supply and demand. Provide your customers with too much of a good thing and the price will come tumbling down.

Our reporters who tracked the pirates over the past few months noticed that prices have dropped substantially recently as any entrepreneur with a new computer joined the burgeoning trade.

Maybe big companies that are crying foul can learn a lesson from their nemeses.

If they dropped prices of legitimate store-bought albums and films the hoods might well lose the market for their third-rate fakes.
