Zebras coach Stanley Tshosane has selected 20 players who are already in camp in Gaborone to sharpen themselves up for the All Whites.
For the reigning Oceania champions, the game against Botswana is part of their preparations for the Confederations Cup in South Africa from June 14 to 28.
New Zealand are in Dar es Salaam where they were scheduled to play the Tanzanian national soccer side, Taifa Stars, in an international friendly on Wednesday where they went down 2-1.
Zebras manager Patrick Zibochwa said: "We are looking forward to the game against the All Whites, we played two games against top local sides last week and did very well.
"What was good about those games is that our players scored a total of six goals when we beat Township Rollers and Gaborone United (3-1 each)."
Botswana Defence Force X1 defender Mompati Phuma is the captain of this team which also include Egypt-based Modire Marumo.
