ROW OVER MMBOI DEAL

MILTON Tshifiwa Mmboi, the tough as teak National First Division affiliate's Dynamos' defender is likely to be in limbo next season after he allegedly signed contracts with three different clubs.

MILTON Tshifiwa Mmboi, the tough as teak National First Division affiliate's Dynamos' defender is likely to be in limbo next season after he allegedly signed contracts with three different clubs.

Mmboi is alleged to have signed a contract extension with Dynamos before being unveiled as a Jomo Cosmos player at the end of the club's NFD playoff match against Coastal stream winners Carara Kicks and the latest being that he is also linked to Kaizer Chiefs.

Mmboi was paraded by overall National First Division champions Cosmos last month as their player - something that has since been refuted by the Dynamites' boss Pat Malabela.

"Milton is still our player and his contract expires in June next year. I can't say anything about Milton joining a Premiership club because we are still to receive an offer from anyone interested in his services," he said.

It has also emerged from sources closer to the club that the player's contract that was supposed to have expired at the end of the season was extended by the two parties separately from that of the league.

Jomo Sono, Ezenkosi's owner-coach, confirmed that they have signed the player on a two-year contract.

"I was surprised when Chiefs' manager Bobby Motaung told me that they had signed Mmboi. There is nothing more I can say about the issue, I will wait for the league's Dispute Resolution Committee's decision on the matter," Sono said yesterday.

Motaung could not confirm or deny signing Mmboi.

"We are busy with our recruitment drive and we will make an announcement on our new recruits when we are through with all the paper work," Motaung said yesterday.
