Education MEC Senzo Mchunu and MEC for transport Bheki Cele met members of the Zakhele Taxi Association on Tuesday to discuss the allegations threats.

Education depart-ment spokesperson Mbali Thusi said allegations had been made that taxi drivers had threatened teachers who used lift clubs to get to schools.
