THE promotional rights for the International Boxing Foundation welterweight vacant title between Isaac Hlatshwayo and Delvin Rodriguez will be decided by the IBF's board of governors.
On Tuesday the IBF postponed the purse bid. It was supposed to have taken place in New Jersey, US.
This has led the Rodriguez camp to file a protest over the 50-50 split of the purse money.
They demanded a 75-25 split, said local promoter, Branco Milenkovic, who represents Hlatshwayo in that bid.
He explained that Rodriguez's complaint is that the Dominican Republic fighter, who is based in Danbury, Connecticut, US, said he won the title eliminator - hence rated second.
Milenkovic said the IBF has taken Rodriguez's "letter of protest together with my objection for a decision".
Meanwhile Milenkovic announced that the long-awaited IBF mini-flyweight title eliminator between third-rated Nkosinathi "Mabere" Joyi from East London, and former IBF champion, fourth-rated, Filipino Florante "Little Pacquiao" Condes will take place in East London's Orient Theatre on June 26.
