"I'M actually quite boring." are not words one expects from a TV presenter who gets to travel the continent, hosts A-list events, meets celebrities and attends the hippest parties.
But Rachel Stuart of Channel O fame swears she's just that - "boring".
"I would much rather work in an office where I just come in, do my job and then go home." She says, revealing an unexpected humility.
Before coming to South Africa in 2002 she worked in the corporate finance department of the National Merchant Bank in Zimbabwe - her native country.
On arrival in SA she quickly got offers to model - and she has since modeled for Coca-Cola, Smirnoff, Ford and Checrolet.
Today five cosmetics companies compete to impress her with their red lipsticks.
The first lipstick she tries is Rose Passion from Rimmel. Rachel is impressed.
"I love the purple of the holder and the lipstick because it's not blood red."
The second is Intensely Red from Max Factor.
"This goes on nicely but it's a little dry and your lips can't be dry if your wearing red lipstick, otherwise you'll look like a hooker."
Next up is L'Oreal's Rouge Penelope.
"This feels as if I'm putting on lip gloss.
"So far it's the best but it feels as if I aught to keep putting more on."
The fourth lipstick is the Charlie London Red.
"It has quite a bit of moisture so it feels great. It's also has a gold shimmer to it."
The last lipstick is Yardley's Va Va Voom.
"This one smells great and has a lot of moisture so I don't have to put a lot of it on."
After much thought and s0me more comparisons Rachel declares Yardley's Va Va Voom the winner.
