Members of the community are angry at the management of Itereleng Primary school in Makotopong, outside Polokwane, after the mysterious disappearance of school assets and nutritious food for the children.
Parents with pupils at the school have since demanded an urgent meeting with management, but without success.
They have now threatened to make the school ungovernable.
They accused the school principal and the School Governing Body of stealing food meant for the children.
A parent, Rosina Letsoalo, claimed the teachers were conniving with SGB members to share the food among themselves.
She said some members were distributing the food parcels to their nannies, friends and concubines, leaving children to starve during break.
Letsoalo said apart from food, furniture and corrugated iron sheets had also gone missing at the school.
She said the school had requested a private company for additional classrooms, but instead the company offered to build a new block for the school.
"During demolition of the old school block, members of the governing body distributed the iron sheets among themselves without first consulting us,'' claimed Letsoalo
Mabjala Ester Manzini, chairperson of the SGB, said the iron sheets and window frames were sold to members who needed them.
She refuted claims that teachers and SGB members were benefiting from the nutritious food meant for pupils.
