And what will they do when they reach their sell-by date? Become madams and exploit others? Don't legalise prostitution, but rescue the women and give them skills. Don't allow pimps to wreck families, homes and communities and empower drug dealers and human traffickers.

How many prostitutes does Sweat represent and why has it emerged just before 2010? Who is funding it and why is it getting so much media coverage?
