THE Gauteng education department is calling on Grade R teachers who have not been paid for the past two months to come forward.
"We urge them to do so so that we can process their payments," said spokesperson Tebogo Tlholoe in a statement . "Otherwise, we have paid all others who have come forward."
Last week the department said 285 Grade R teachers had not been paid for the months of March and April. The department said 200 teachers would be paid for March and it was working to compensate the others.
