This is the view of Stormers coach Rasie Erasmus, who predicts that the hosts will become champions for the second time in three years.
He said the Bulls have developed a tendency of producing a magnificent performance when they are regarded as underdogs.
"Recently they have been more inspired when they come from behind in their matches. This has proved their fighting spirit, though sometimes it could be dangerous," said Erasmus yesterday.
"Their come-from-behind win over the Crusaders in the semifinals was awesome. They have been doing well at the scrums and are geared up to claim the scalp of the Chiefs to reclaim the trophy they won in 2007 against the Sharks in Durban," he added.
Erasmus believes flyhalf Morne Steyn will be a menace to the Chiefs defence.
His sentiments were echoed by former Springboks hooker Owen Nkumane.
"The Bulls have a good squad that boasts players with cup temperament and this will help the team to lift the trophy on Saturday," said Nkumane.
"They have a solid defence and their forwards are always aggressive and are also capable of causing havoc in their opponents territory," added Nkumane, who is also a SuperSport rugby commentator.
Former Pumas coach Pat Masina said: "The Bulls have done pretty well this year and deserve to win this competition.
"They just need to maintain the momentum and not allow complacency to creep in. They need to be composed throughout the match."
He said that Steyn and Fourie du Freez are on top of their game and will help the Bulls to prevail, with the assistance wing Bryan Habana.
While most of the smart money is on the Bulls to win, former Springbok player Khaya Malotana believes the South Africans will be shocked by the New Zealanders on the day.
"The Chiefs have proved that they are the team of the moment throughout the round-robin stages.
"They also have a better game plan than the Bulls," said Malotana.
