Dudu Zuma, President Jacob Zuma's daughter, has launched herself into Jozi's social circles and socialites are more than happy to welcome her.

She threw the mother of all parties at the up-market Inanda Club in Sandton on Tuesday to celebrate her 27th birthday.

The A-listers of Jozi were there and so was controversial ANCYL president Julius Malema.

Daddy dearest didn't pitch as many people had hoped.

Dudu looked stunning in a red dress encrusted with diamantés.

French champagne Moët was flowing, as was Johnnie Walker Blue and Gold Label, to the delight of the guests, who danced until the early hours.

Pity there was no birthday cake, but David Kau sang for the birthday girl.

Among the celebrities who attended were Khanyi Mbau, DJ Mahoota, Andile Ncube, Andile Galeshiwe, Somizi Mhlongo, Lindelani Mkhize and former Miss South Africa Tansy Coetzee.

The DJs kept the dance floor alive and Mbau stole the show in a pretty black number.

Model Miriam Ngomani was clad in a red coat and black leggings.

There were a few who pitched in jeans and takkies but most were dressed to the nines.

The men looked sleek in Italian suits and the women exquisite, mostly in black dresses.

Malema wore a black leather jacket - for a man who usually dons tailored garb, he really disappointed this time.
