Bafana choose Orlando

Bafana Bafana have chosen Orlando, Mogwase and Seisa Ramabodu stadiums as their training venues for the Confederations Cup first round campaign.

The refurbished Orlando Stadium will be used to prepare for their opening game against Iraq at Ellis Park Stadium on June 14.

For the second game against New Zealand at Royal Bafokeng Stadium on June 17, Bafana Bafana will train at Mogwase Stadium. They will use Seisa Ramabodu for the last group game against Spain at Free State Stadium on June 20.

Fifa has released the training venues and hotels assigned to all the eight countries participating in this tournament from June 14 to 28. Iraq, the Asian champions, will be using the Ruimsig Stadium in Roodepoort for the games against Bafana Bafana and New Zealand (June 20).

For the game against the Fernando Torres-led Spain on June 17 at Free State Stadium, the Iraqis will train at Seisa Ramabodu.

New Zealand have been assigned the new Moruleng Stadium in Rustenburg for their opening game against Spain on June 14 at Royal Bafokeng Stadium.

Spain, the reigning European champions, will train at Olympia Park for the game against the All Whites.
