Internationally acclaimed Afro-soul and jazz diva Abigail Kubeka has joined e.tv's soapie Scandal.
After a brilliant performance in Generations as the mother of Tau Mogale a few years ago, Kubeka, pictured, continues to successfully juggle her music and acting careers.
Kubeka has landed the role of Gogo Manyathi, Daniel Nyathi's aunt in Scandal. She is in town for the wedding of Daniel (Sello Maake Ncube) and Nadia Nahrain.
The veteran singer is no stranger to acting as she has worked in many facets of the entertainment industry, from theatre, television, musicals, to cabaret.
She has appeared in TV shows such as 7de Laan, Soul City, Magic Flute, Hillside 2, Distant Horizon and Wild at Home.
