Millions intended to be spent on the health needs of Eastern Cape residents have gone missing from d.
Only a week after paying R12000 lobola - a Mpumalanga man found his wife making love to another man.
Tshepo Nkadimeng, of Lefiso village in the KwaMhlanga, fainted when he caught the mother of his two children, Tebogo Mkhanda, in the act.
"Nkadimeng's bakkie broke down while on his way to Polokwane and he returned home at night to find that his wife was not there," said a family friend.
"He was concerned as it was late and made the shocking discovery in a nearby shack when he went to ask the neighbours whether they had seen her."
It is understood that Nkadimeng was prepared to forgive her and even sought advice from her mother.
"Mkhanda did not show any remorse. She behaved as if Nkadimeng was the one who was in the wrong," said the source.
The matter was then referred to the local chief, Kgosi Mmutle.
Mmutle confirmed yesterday that the husband and wife, and their relatives, appeared before him but failed to be reconciled.
"Both families have decided not to continue with the marriage and that the money for magadi and everything else that the man's family paid , be returned by the wife's family," Mmutle said.
Mkhanda could not be reached for comment, but Nkadimeng confirmed what had happened when contacted by Sowetan.
