Platinum Stars have shown Jabu "Shuffle" Mahlangu and Steve "Chippa" Lekoelea the door, while Mbulelo "OJ" Mabizela's future at the team still remains uncertain.
The Tycoons refused to renew Mahlangu and Lekoelea's contracts. Though the club declined to give reasons, Mahlangu has caused the club embarrassment off the pitch.

His most recent disappearing act at the Tycoons was in March ahead of their crunch Nedbank Cup match against Mamelodi Sundowns.
But his club was quick to protect him, with their spokesperson Aubrey Molobi assuring their fans that Mahlangu was hard at training.
Lekoelea, on the other hand, was frustrated at the club because of his failure to play regularly. Stars coach Miguel Gamondi sidelined him, saying he was no longer a factor in big matches.
Gamondi had defended his decision to use Lekoelea as a bit-part player, arguing that he could only play for 20 or 30 minutes, depending on the opposition.
His comments suggested that the midfielder would not stay long at the team.
Another player who joined the list of the unemployed yesterday is Phumudzo "Muvhango" Manenzhe.
His contract was also not renewed by Stars.
Interestingly, all the three fired players once played for Orlando Pirates.
Ian Riddick, Stars's chief executive, told Sowetan yesterday the club has decided not to renew the trio's contracts.
"We have already started working on the preparations for the new season, we are not renewing the contracts of players like Jabu, Steve and Phumudzo," he explained.
Asked about Mabizela, Riddick said: "We have not decided on that one, the management will make an announcement once a decision has been made."
On the future of coach Miguel Gamondi, Riddick said: "We are still talking regarding the future plans of the club, the plan is to have a solid team."
Riddick could not be drawn into media reports that Craig Rosslee was on his way to Bafokeng after resigning as coach of Ajax Cape Town last week.
