Grant "Fireball" Fourie, nephew to the late, great Pierre Fourie, will have his hands full against Danile Bothman at Graceland Casino in Secunda on June 13.

Fourie, 26, is a competent and capable fighter who has quietly gone about his business since he turned professional in October 2007. He is undefeated in nine fights, with one draw.

Fourie, who has stopped six of his eight victims, has just been included in the top 10 of the national rankings.

But the fighter trained by Colin Nathan could rue agreeing to fight Bothman, a battle-scarred warrior from North West.

Bothman has not won any silverware but he brings everything into battle.

Despite 14 losses he has not abandoned his ambition of winning a South African title.

Their eight rounder in the lightweight division will form part of the Golden Gloves bill. Isaac Chilembe and Douglas Otieno will fight for the WBO Pan African light heavyweight vacant strap in the main contest.
