A Limpopo couple was brutally assaulted in their house by four men on Friday night.
The 66-year-old man and his 59-year-old wife are farmers in Alldays.
The attackers tied them up and assaulted them before leaving them outside in the cold.
Limpopo police spokesperson Superintendent Mohale Ramatseba said the men stole the couple's firearms, two cellphones, liquor and an undisclosed amount of money.
Ramatseba said the men demanded the keys to the safe and cleaned it out.
"After assaulting the two they handed over the keys and left," said Ramatseba.
Ramatseba said the couple was later discovered by their workers who reported the matter to the police.
"O ne of the suspects, a 26-year-old Zimbabwean, was arrested the following day," he said.
Three firearms suspected to have been stolen from the victims were also recovered. Police are still looking for the other three suspects while the arrested one will appear in court today.
