Tembisa man gets life for rape

Willy Raphasha Lisufe was sentenced to life imprisonment for sexual assault and rape at the Tembisa magistrate's court, east of Johannesburg.

Lisufe appeared before magistrate Hendrick le Grange yesterday, police said.

He was found guilty and sentenced to five years in prison for kidnapping, three years for assault and a life term for sexual assault and four counts of rape.

Lisufe had threatened a woman in Ivory Park, Tembisa, with a knife before forcing her to go with him to his house where he repeatedly raped her. - Sapa
