The ANC says lazy members of Parliament will be a thing of the past after its new crop of MPs are sworn in tomorrow at the first sitting of the fourth national assembly.

"This time we are going to give the people all that they ask for," ANC MP Winnie Madikizela-Mandela said yesterday.

ANC secretary-general Gwede Mantashe echoed Madikizela-Mandela's sentiments, saying new MPs would be expected to service their constituencies like never before.
