Eletsa Secondary School will represent North West in the Coca Cola Football Stars competition and Mofulatshepe Primary will represent Free State in the Danone Nations Cup after their victories at the weekend.

Motivated by the presence of Football Stars selectors Neil Tovey, Mark Williams and Edward Motale, the players went all out .

Eletsa went on the rampage when they netted 13 goals in two matches to clinch the North West's provincial Football Stars title.

Steered by their prolific striker Tsholofelo Kekane, Eletsa walloped Arefadimeheng 7-2 in the final.

Eletsa will meet other provincial champions in the national championships from May 22 to 25 at Muckleuneck in Pretoria.

The African Championships, where the select squad will represent Mzansi, will be held from June 1-12 at University of Pretoria.

Mofulatshepe Primary will represent Free State in the national championships of the Danone Nations Cup after they beat Nthute 1-0 in the provincial final at Mangaung sports grounds in Bloemfontein on Saturday.

Mofulatshepe will play against other provincial winners in Soweto from May 29 to 31, with the national champions representing the country at the World Championships in Brazil in October.

Letima Mogorosi of the South African Schools Football Association said they were impressed by the high standard displayed and hope they will be well represented nationally.
