Banks to face alleged stalker

Supermodel-turned-TV personality Tyra Banks will come face-to-face with a man accused of stalking and harassing the star when she takes the stand in his trial later this month.

Supermodel-turned-TV personality Tyra Banks will come face-to-face with a man accused of stalking and harassing the star when she takes the stand in his trial later this month.

Georgia native, Brady Green, 38, allegedly began a months-long bid to meet and seduce Banks, pictured, by sending her unwanted flowers, packages and notes and repeatedly calling and visiting the New York studios where she films The Tyra Banks Show.

According to court documents, Green also threatened to harm Banks' assistant when she refused to give him the star's address during a phone call to her offices.

He is said to have told the unnamed colleague, "You're f**king lying, I'm going to find you and slit your throat".

Green was arrested in March last year. He has pleaded not guilty to misdemeanour counts of stalking, criminal trespassing and harassment and has turned down offers of a plea deal from prosecutors to keep him out of jail.

Banks is expected to give her testimony in the coming weeks. - Wenn
