Some ambitions will be dashed while others get closer to being reality when Witbank Spurs host Mpumalanga Black Aces in a National First Division Inland Stream Mpumalanga derby at Ackerville Stadium tomorrow.

Both teams are sitting on opposite ends of the log standings with contrasting ambitions.

Siyavutha, who are inconsistent, are eyeing a move away from the relegation zone.

Despite their 2-1 victory over Winners Park a fortnight ago, Spurs still remain relegation candidates and could survive the chop only through consistency.

Aces, on the other hand, are vying for the platinum playoffs. The three points they dropped against Black Leopards a fortnight ago were crucial to their playoff ambitions.

History favours Spurs to win the game is bound to be a thrill-a-minute encounter that has divided the community of Witbank into two. Aces might use the platform to avenge the two defeats in the first and second round of the league.

The match will be televised live on SABC Sport. Kickoff is at 3pm.
