Matthew Counihan plays the character of Riff Raff in a production of the Rocky Horror PictureShow.

Counihan says the role is unlike anything he's played before: "He's a sinister, creepy, yet rather fun character and quite a change from the Bobby C, who I played in last year's production of Saturday Night Fever, and from the character I played in The Full Monty."

In a completely different role, we asked Matthew to play the Easter Bunny and taste a range of chocolate eggs. He delighted us by hiding goodies around the office.

"I love Easter eggs. We used to freeze them, peel all the chocolate off before letting them melt in our mouths," he said.

Counihan found the packaging to be fun and appealing: "It's funky and magical with the classic Easter bunny face in a range of bright colours which are good to spot, making these eggs perfect to hide.

"Beacon eggs have a good amount of chocolate, soft, fresh marshmallow centres with the obligatory yellow yolk. These are the original delicious Easter time eggs from my youth," said Counihan.

Next he tasted the Beacon chocolate marshmallow egg. "This egg is a bit disappointing because there is very little chocolate centre. Like the originals, there is good chocolate on the outside but I find the bright yellow yolk more in keeping with the Easter vibe."

Woolworth's marshmallow eggs have really cute packaging. When you open them you will find a little sticker with an Easter-inspired character. "Kids will love these. The packaging is great, the stickers are really fun for children. The eggs are plumper, fresher, spongier than others."

Counihan said biting into these was like taking a chomp out of a cloud. "The chocolate is more milky and lingers in the mouth. Yes! I'm definitely a fan of these ones."

He took a bite out of the Pick n Pay marshmallow eggs and the egg stretched across the room like pizza topping. "Wow! These are really rubbery. It's hard to get my teeth through them. There's hardly any chocolate on the outside, the texture is terrible. They taste awful, plus the wrapping is boring. I'll not buy these," he said.

Counihan also tasted the Beacon milkshake flavas candy eggs, which he found too sweet. "I prefer the plain white original ones but these are like really large Smarties."

The Beacon jelly tots with centred candy-coated mini-speckled eggs would be better with more chocolate inside, he said. "I do like the texture of hard crackle into soft jelly," he added.
