Arch is not God either

The ANC has survived media statements and onslaughts since its days underground and the mischievous attention-craving "won't-vote" Tutu should not think that he will alter our path.

The ANC has survived media statements and onslaughts since its days underground and the mischievous attention-craving "won't-vote" Tutu should not think that he will alter our path.

What Tutu keeps doing every time he is afforded a media platform, playing the man and not the ball, is laying a foundation for an era when a sitting president will be disrespected and that, holier one, will translate to disrespect for the rule of law and the state.

Arch, next time the "Americans" ask you who will be South Africa's next president, do not be embarrassed.

Just tell them that you anticipate the majority of South Africans will democratically vote Jacob Zuma into the presidency. You will be surprised that your Americans will not stop eating or commit mass suicide.

To Tutu we say: "You may have popularity now, but you are not God and, come April 22, you will get your come-uppance."

Yes, you are an old man, but seemingly not wiser.

You should take your own advice and sit on the sidelines and watch the majority of people in this country helping this new democracy to flourish and grow by returning the ANC into power overwhelmingly.

Hope you can cope with that.
