The Mpumalanga department of culture, sports and recreation will host a two-day amateur soccer tournament this weekend.
Four teams from Safa Ehlanzeni SAB League and four from Bushbuckridge Local Football Association will compete in the event at Ngungunyane Stadium in Kildare.
The teams are Shumungwe United, Calcutta United, Codesa FC, Combinator from the SAB league, and Ocean Stars, Real Touch, Lever Brothers and Kildare Stars from the LFA.
"We are using the tournament to activate the 2010 World Cup provincial programme," Solly Mpayase, the department's chief sports organiser, said.
