Due to Aucor's continuing outstanding successes in truck "repo" auctions, the company has been inundated with a huge range of exceptional stock for its next auction to be held at Bapsfontein on April 7 from 10.30pm.
Dewald van der Nest said Aucor had been bombarded with excellent value repo items. "Our last auction was exceptionally well attended and ultimately a great success.
There was a good mixture of equipment and vehicles, including 4-ton trucks, late model 6x4 horses, semi-trailers and a diverse range of construction equipment and plant," he said.
He said Aucor had experienced a surprisingly healthy demandon manyof the items. There was some very competitive bidding on TLBs, skid steers, loaders and the rigid trucks and semi-trailers in particular, he added.
"It seems these items are extremely popular at the moment and I have no doubt that we will be able to offer exceptional opportunities for all those interested in buying such items at our next auction," said Van der Nest.
He said a top price of R300000 was achieved for a 2006 Volvo TLB, while excellent prices were attained for products across the range.
"Banks are not holding back at the moment and due to the high intake of stock and the current market situation, buyers are walking away with excellent value purchases from Aucor auctions of this kind," Van der Nest said.
