In what is expected to be the largest truck auction to take place in Africa this year, Aucor has been appointed by the relevant banks to dispose of a selection of the finest late-model trucks ever to hit the market.

In what is expected to be the largest truck auction to take place in Africa this year, Aucor has been appointed by the relevant banks to dispose of a selection of the finest late-model trucks ever to hit the market.

Dewald van der Nest, Aucor's general manager for trucking and earth-moving, is excited at the prospect of offering some 150 units to buyers from far and wide.

"This is the kind of sale you must attend if you are looking to buy the best at the most affordable prices.

"Our instruction from the banks is to clear the yard on the day of auction to the highest bidder and therefore by close of business on Monday, March 16, every single vehicle will have been sold," Van der Nest said.

"The selection includes 2007 and 2008 model 4x2, 6x4, horses by Mercedes, Freightliner, MAN, Iveco, Scania and DAF. Buses and minibuses will form part of this sale.

Trailers of every description will also be on offer including super-links, tippers, flat-decks and others.

"A good selection of smaller commercials in excellent condition will be on offer including light commercials, bakkies and passenger vehicles.

"In view of the urgency of this disposal, we will be supplementing this sale with certain pieces of yellow metal and material handling equipment which includes TLB's, rubber-tyre loaders, rollers, diesel forklifts from two to five tons as well as a plethora of small items for the industry."

Prospective clients should contact Jaco Welthagen on 083-784-0316 for any enquiries. The auction takes place at the Aucor sales yard, 16th Road, Midrand.

For directions please call Aucor's customer care line on 086-128-2846.
