Non-voters have no right to complain

It worries me that people demand free water, free electricity and houses willy-nilly. And they threaten the political parties by saying, "no water, no houses, no vote".

These South Africans are fooling themselves. They should have demanded what they are demanding now long before the elections. It is your responsibility to contribute to democracy by voting. Every vote does make a difference. The party of your choice requires a certain number of votes to get a seat in Parliament and provincial legislatures. If you don't vote, you have no right to complain.
