ICT group Gijima AST yesterday reported diluted headline earnings per share of 4.27 cents for the six months ended in December last year from 4.29 cents a year before.
Revenue grew by 25percent to R1.5billion, while operating profit grew to R80.16million from R68.35million.
The company said the 25percent rise in revenue was achieved primarily through the strong growth of 60percent in the professional services division, which secured significant new business over the period.
Looking ahead, the group said the ICT industry has become challenging with client sectors, such as mining, reducing capital spend. - I-Net Bridge
