Public servants in North West have been urged by Premier Edna Molewa to rally behind Bafana Bafana ahead of the Confederations Cup and 2010 World Cup.
The passionate plea was made by Molewa during the opening of the North West legislature in Mmabatho last Friday morning.
Cornelius Monama, government's communications head, said public servants will give their suits and ties a break, and wear Bafana Bafana replicas.
Monama said the provincial government was satisfied with the preparations for the two competitions at Royal Bafokeng Stadium and other related projects.
A Fifa technical committee delegation inspected the stadium last week and were impressed with the renovation process.
