Another mineworker dies

The death of a mineworker at Gold Fields' Kloof mine in Carletonville on Saturday pushed up the number of fatalities on South African mines to 26 since the beginning of the year. According to the department of minerals and energy, most deaths have been recorded in the coal sector.
