Lotto winners claim most of the R21,8m prize money

Fourteen of last week's 18 national lotto millionaires have claimed their prize-money.

The 18 winners broke the last record of 12 winners on one night.

Gidani spokesman Thembi Tulwana said: "None of the winners have complained that the money was little. The winners were very excited about winning."

The jackpot was R21,8million, with each of the 18 winners getting at least R1,2million.

The winning numbers were 3, 13, 17, 28, 37 and 49.

The three punters from Gauteng and one from Western Cape have not yet claimed their prize money. So far, there is one winner from North West, Northern Cape and Mpumalanga. Two winners are from KwaZulu-Natal and three from the Western Cape. Gauteng has the most winners at four.

Wednesday's R4million jackpot was not won. T he prize money will roll over to tomorrow's jackpot which is estimated at R6million.
