But it was not to be for a Limpopo woman raped in 2000 and was frustrated by the postponement of her case for whopping 48 times.
Worse, she had to wait eight years for the trial to take place and a few more months for the verdict.
This week, she was relieved when justice finally prevailed in her favour. Her assailants were finally convicted and will be sentenced on March 5.
