This does not mean that the officers accused of graft are indeed dirty. Due process is still to take place and only after that shall we know.

We do hope that the officers who have taken such a tough stance against corruption will not be limited to their higher-ups. We hope that they will be as harsh when one of their members is accused of graft.

Now that they have shown their disgust against this scourge, by sacrificing half a month's salary, we will wait and see if they will be tough against their colleagues who might ask for a "cool drink" from errant motorists.
