Love will be in the air on Saturday at Mosaiek Theatre in Fairland, Johannesburg, when award-wining gospel group Joyous Celebration record their 13th offering live.

The special event will be used to spread the message of love.

Lindelani Mkhize, co-founder of the group, said the event, which is sponsored by Old Mutual, will be special for families and lovers.

"We will be celebrating love in a different way because we believe God is love. The show will be very interactive and exciting.

"We plan to include many things to make it memorable.

"People will be able to exchange gifts and there will be motivational talks by pastors. Joyous is good at finding new talent and we will be introducing fresh talent at the show," said Mkhize.

In keeping with the theme of love during the celebrations, newlyweds Nthokozo Mbambo and Nqubeko Mbatha will do a duet as a once-off performance.

The live recording will also introduce the new cast members picked from the nationwide auditions to the audience.

Jabu Hlongwane, founder of Joyous Foundation, comments: "This live recording is special. Not only are Ntokozo and Nqubeko performing a duet but also out of the 11 official South African languages, we will include a special performance in a Nigerian language."

Mkhize promised fans an exciting and entertaining day.

Tickets are available at Computicket from R150 to R300.
