South Africa should have learnt about land redistribution from Japan before it closed the land claim window period, PAC president Letlapa Mphahlele told more than 1000 supporters at Ga-Mphahlele in Limpopo.
Mphahlele, pictured, yesterday said the government had failed the people by closing the land claim period and not reversing colonialism.
"The government has failed in redistribution because for the past 15 years they have only managed to redistribute 3percent of land to communities.
"It took Japan more than five decades to address the land problem. We as the PAC believe that South Africa should have taken more time," he said.
