Wits University proved on Saturday night that beating Platinum Stars 1-0 in the first round was no fluke by pipping them again by the same scoreline at Milpark Stadium.
The goal came from the educated left foot of Samuel Ramasoeu whose grass cutter went hissing past Stars' keeper Wayne Sandilands in the 54th minute.
Wits midfielder Fabricio Rodrigues controlled the engine room with aplomb while Tebogo Langerman and Calvin Kadi caused havoc up front.
But for the goals Platinum Stars' keeper Sandilands had a brilliant game outing.
