His time of 8:20:48 in the 3000m ensured he will be represent his country in Berlin.
Barefooted Seme Sikhumbuso (ADT) tried his damndest to keep up with the slick Ramolefe but by the start of the last lap his best bet was already second with Phaswana Thuso coming third.
"I am happy with my time, I don't think I could have run any faster, I haven't done that much training for the steeplechase. I will now go home and focus for a while and see what comes out," Ramolefe said.
