Convicted murderess Najwa Petersen and her three co-accused will be sentenced next Wednesday.
Cape high court Judge Siraj Desai made the announcement yesterday after hearing submissions on sentencing from the state and defence teams.
The state has asked for the minimum prescribed sentences for all the accused - life sentences for Najwa, pictured, and two hitmen also convicted of murder, and 15 years for the fourth accused, convicted of robbery with aggravating circumstances.
Najwa and the hitmen were found guilty by the court last year of murdering her husband, entertainer Taliep Petersen, in the family's Cape Town home in December 2006. - Sapa
